Unamed Collective, pronounced colloquially as ooo-na-med, is an interdisciplinary group of artists based in London.
It is within Unamed’s ambitions to navigate ideas of accessibility and inclusivity within the systems and structures which govern the legitimacy of artistic practices. With a diverse breadth of practices and interests, the differences found across Unamed converge at a mutual candour towards artistic practices as reality.

‘Unamed Immigration and Naturalisation Services’ is a performative and site-specific re-creation-al play on residency application processes. The environment recreated takes interest in the emotions between the applicant and the paper validation which they seek. In this relationship, how do various bureaucratic printed appellations, so light and cold, control the applicant?
